Teachers
Good teachers don’t just share knowledge — they awaken understanding. They guide us back to the roots of truth, helping us see Scripture through the eyes of those who first received it. These voices don’t seek fame or followers, but faithfulness. They call us to dig deeper, to question traditions that have drifted, and to rediscover the richness of God’s Word within its Hebrew foundations. May these teachers inspire you to grow in wisdom, walk in truth, and see the beauty of God’s heart for His people, Israel.

A good teacher encourages you to grow, to search the Scriptures for yourself, and to ask plenty of questions. Jewish tradition, in particular, values questioning—and often welcomes more than one answer. Some teachers focus mainly on Torah, while others explore a wide range of topics.
One thing we learned during our time in the Land is the familiar saying: if there are two Jews, there will be three opinions. Discovering that there isn’t always just one answer has been a real revelation. Jewish teachers often approach learning from different perspectives, and there is something to be gained from each one.
“The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires.”
— William Arthur Ward
